Description

Rarity – one of the first Media Luna guitars from the Conde Hermanos Shop!
Faustino, Mariano and Julio Conde were building guitars under the label “Viuda Y Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso” after the death of their great teacher Domingo Esteso in 1937.
Finally they established the name Conde Hermanos and built guitars with the famous half-moon (Media Luna) headstock design as a trademark.
This guitar is one of the first Media Luna guitars and therefore an ultimate peculiarity.
Paco de Lucia and thousands of other flamenco guitarists have played such guitars.
The guitar is also signed by Faustino Conde and therefore clearly represents a master guitar of the highest class.
Best materials were used for this great Flamenca Negra:
– Alpine spruce with a fine grain for the top
– high quality rosewood for back and sides
– finest features and a high-quality case
(it’s the original guitarcase)
The scale is 670 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
The guitar offers an absolutely furious sound. Just as you know it from the recordings of the masters. It leaves nothing to be desired. It is absolutely powerful and dynamic in sound. It is a pleasure for player and listener at the same time.
It is well adjusted and gives the player the feeling that the guitar plays itself. Perfect action (E6 2.8 mm and E1 2.3 mm) and straight neck.
As you can see from the pictures, the guitar has already been restored. The restoration was carried out very professionally by a guitar maker from Granada.
