This guitar was made for Antonio Chover Salom who was a famous Spanish composer, conductor, musicologist, and teacher. Antonio Chover’s work as a researcher and composer played a crucial role in maintaining and advancing traditional Spanish music, particularly in the Valencia region. Sanchis wrote a dedication for Antonio Chover on the label.
The Model Torres from the Serie 1900 is designed following the classical principles of guitar-making, inspired by the legendary Antonio de Torres. The guitar has a slightly smaller body and a shorter scale of 642 mm. The nut width is 51 mm.
This guitar delivers a warm, balanced sound with outstanding projection and depth. Perfect for classical music and flamenco, it offers excellent responsiveness and harmonic resonance. The string action at the 12th fret is low and comfortable (3.3 mm E and 2.8 mm e), ensuring effortless playability.
