Description

Tomas Leal “negra” – fine handmade guitar with excellent sound quality!

Tomas Leal Mejias is a master luthier making guitars, bandurrias and mandolins in Casasimarro (Spain).
Tomas Leal was trained by luthier Vícente Carrillo Cantos in Madrid. The Leal familly has a long tradition of guitar building and they can track their history down to 1744.
Tomas Leal’s guitars are entirely handmade using traditional building methods. His woods are of excellent quality!

This fine guitar has a top of fine spruce. Back and sides are of rosewood. It has a scale length of 660 mm und a nut width of 52 mm.

The sound of this guitar is really incredible. It has a quality of sound and a volume that surprised us. The basses are very powerful and bright but deep at the same time, the trebles are clear, with great projection and sustain.
The guitar plays very nice, with a slim neck and a low action.

The condition of this guitar is excellent (only lightest traces of play and use) without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.

It comes with the original hard case.
