Description
Thorsten Sven Lietz 2015 Torres – concert guitar – very finely built with excellent sound characteristics!
Thorsten Sven Lietz was born in Marl, Westphalia, in 1971 and had already decided at a relatively young age that he wanted to become a luthier. He studied at the “Fachschule für Geigen- und Zupfinstrumentenbau” (technical school for violin and plucked string instrument making) in Mittenwald, where he later passed his master’s examination. Since then, he has been building master instruments in his own workshop. His guitars are highly valued worldwide. You can tell from his instruments the joy he has in building guitars and you can also clearly see the very high quality of craftsmanship.
This guitar is from 2015 and was built in Torres style. It is in very good condition. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width is 52 mm. The guitar plays very easily, with a low string action and a straight neck. The action at the 12th fret is 3.5 mm E and 2.8 mm e. The saddle of the bridge still has enough room for future adjustments.
The guitar has a beautiful spruce top and rosewood back and sides. It comes with the original case.
The lightweight construction of this instrument results in a remarkably direct response, causing each note to resonate with clarity and immediacy. Its warm, round sound character, coupled with exceptional separation of tones, makes this guitar versatile for a wide range of musical repertoire. The shellac finish not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the guitar, but also contributes to its rich tonal quality.
This fine guitar is a high-quality instrument that meets the highest standards of sound and playability.
