Schönbach ~1920 Vienna model – a very nice looking guitar with an impressive sound
This beautifully crafted guitar comes from Schönbach (today Luby), a town in the immediate vicinity of Markneukirchen.
It was built by an unknown luthier in the style of a Viennese guitar.
This guitar impresses with its beautiful decorations on the bridge and sound hole. The materials used are of very high quality and the luthier’s craftsmanship is excellent.
The top is made of fine Alpine spruce. The back and sides are made of extremely beautiful flamed maple. The scale length is 620 mm and the nut width 45 mm.
The guitar has been lightly restored. It is in good condition and plays very well with a low action.
The guitar has a beautiful sound, very sweet and with a lot of character and charisma. The guitar enchants with its lively and charming nature and you feel directly connected to it.
The matured wood and the fine construction produce wonderful timbres and a fascinatingly versatile tone. Nevertheless, it also has the volume and power that you would expect from such a guitar.
This Schönbach ~1920 Vienna model comes with a custom-made case from Bergner (Markneukirchen).
