Nice renaissance guitar ~1560 – an excellent replica – fine and original sound!
A very fine instrument and a well done (historically genuine) replica. This guitar was made by Miguel Dominguez from Algecircas (Spain). He attaches great importance to building these historical instruments true to the original and with the materials of the time. He is a real expert for historical instruments and his replicas are excellently made.

Back and sides: Curly maple
Top: European spruce
Neck: Cedar
Fingerboard: Rosewood.
Headstock: Rosewood, red coral and maple.
Bridge: Pearwood and ebony.
Rosette: Pearwood.
Tuning pegs: Boxwood.
Strings: Nylgut made by Aquila
Lacquer finish: oil
The sound is breathtaking – transparent and light. Very clear and absolutely charming. The guitar also has good sustain and captivates with its fine and sweet tones.
It is an absolute pleasure to play this fine instrument and let it take you to faraway places and times gone by.
