Born in Germany, luthier Otto Rauch has been playing guitar since childhood. Helearned then to how built guitars and became a master luthier.
In his workshop classical concert guitars are created for highest artistic demands. The entire selection of materials, the planning and each step, are carried out exclusively by himself with great effort and great passion.
In addition to his own guitar design, he has produced models in the style of Hauser, Torres, Humphrey and many others. His instruments have been played by Angel Romero, Frank Bungarten and many others. Otto Rauch is one of the most respected luthiers in Germany.
This guitar was build by Otto Rauch in 1988 based on a Torres model. The sides and the back are made of selected maple, with a fine grain and a beautiful look. The top is Italian spruce wood from the highest quality.
The guitar has a beautiful french-polish finish.
Impressive volume and rich, deep basses as well as sparkling trebles characterizes the balanced sound of this fine guitar.
It has a 650 mm scale lenghts and a 52 mm nut width. It is in a good and original condition, with some wear of play and use, but no cracks and repairs. The guitar is perfectly adjusted and comes with the original guitar case.
