Description
Miguel Angel Bellido is a renowned Spanish luthier from Granada. His father, Manuel Bellido, began to learn the art of making Spanish guitars in the 1950s and this craft is continued by his sons today.
Miguel started working in his father’s workshop at a young age and built his first guitars very early on.
Today Miguel builds his own models as well as copies of guitars by Antonio de Torres, Santos Hernández, Louis Panormo, Jose Pages, Jose Pernas, Manuel de la Chica and others.
This beautiful flamenco guitar was built in 2000 and is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs.
It is a light flamenco guitar with percussive basses and strong mids. The first two strings have the characteristic granadine singing and the overall volume of the guitar is impressive.
The top is made of fine spruce and the sides of cypress. The scale length is 655 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
