Description
Exceptional and outstanding sounding Vienna style guitar by Max Klein – this 1962 built guitar is a powerful sounding example of a fine handmade guitar!
Max Klein was born in Markneukirchen around the turn of the century. Like many other guitar makers, he completed his apprenticeship there as a master guitar maker.
He later moved to Koblenz, where he established his workshop and built guitars until his death.
Max Klein’s guitars are famous today, as more and more people realize that his instruments are unbeatably good – especially considering their relatively low price.
Like Hermann Hauser I, Max Klein built the Vienna models to perfection!
The guitar has a top made of German spruce, back and sides made of maple and a fingerboard made of rosewood. The scale length is 635 mm and the nut width is 50 mm. The original shellac polish is in good condition with minor signs of use. Except for a professionally repaired crack on the top, the guitar is in very good condition. It is also equipped with an adjustable neck.
It comes with its original case.
The sound is loud, powerful and with great dynamics – it has a large and deep body and this creates a sublime, almost majestic sound.
The sound is beautiful, masterful with concert quality. It has a lot of clarity, but at the same time incredible tonal flexibility. It offers the magic that only an old, masterfully built guitar can produce.
The guitar offers a wide range of beautiful timbres in all registers.
