Martinez y Cortes 2019 – modern flamenco guitar made in cooperation with Ruben Diaz!
Behind the name Martinez y Cortes are the two young guitar makers David Martinez and David Cortes. The two have quickly become recognized as guitar makers in Spain and internationally for their meticulous craftsmanship and wonderful instruments.
In their instruments they combine careful and innovative construction with the best sound and their own personality. This has enabled them to convince even famous guitarists of their instruments.
This Martinez y Cortes was designed in 2019 in collaboration with the famous guitarist Ruben Diaz. The guitar has a spruce top and cypress back and sides. The center stripe on the back is made of rosewood.
The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
The sound of this guitar is simply spectacular because of the volume, the dynamics and the quality of the sound. The basses are powerful and deep, with an incredibly dynamic flamenco sound. The trebles are well defined, with an amazing tonal range.

The guitar plays with incredible ease and is perfectly set up. The condition is good, the guitar has some signs of use and wear.
