Description
Martin D-35 1972 – ohh man … what an incredibly good sounding guitar … if you are looking for a huge and bold sounding Martin, then you need this D-35!
It has all we like on vintage guitars: nicely aged spruce top with vintage honey colour, well played with moderate signs of play and use, an unbeatable vintage sound …
Together with the Martin D-28, the D-35 is the most famous dreadnought guitar of all time. Who among the famous musicians has not played it … Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, Neil Young, Bob Dylan … the list could go on and on.
The D-35 is the prime example of a 14-fret dreadnought and the construction basis for most dreadnoughts on the market.
This Martin D-35 is a great example of a Martin from the good old days. Not for nothing was this guitar much played and loved … it has that incomparable vintage sound that, in addition to the huge basses and the bright trebles, has that great warm nuance to the tone that can only be found in well played guitars with matured woods.
Vintage vibe at your fingertips … this guitar has character and is a real joy to play.
It is in great vintage condition with no cracks or repairs. The pickguard has been replaced and a piezo pickup has been installed (brand unknown).
It plays very well, with a low action and a straight neck. The saddle has much room left for future adjustments.
It comes with a newer Martin case.
