Description
Martin D-35 1967 – a real cannon of a guitar – big and bold sound!
The Martin D-35 is probably along with the Martin D-28 the most famous dreadnought guitar ever. Who of the famous musicians did not play it?
The D-35 is the prime example of a 14-fret dreadnought and the construction basis for most dreadnoughts on the market. The combination of solid spruce and rosewood is a favorite among recording technicians, as the soundscape is naturally balanced with tight basses and present trebles and it is suitable for many modern styles.
This particular guitar is again one of those vintage tone monsters, which we all love. Rocked hard and beaten up, but it sings like a champ.
It has a very open woody sound and this old world magic tone which only the best vintage guitars have. The woods have nicely aged and while the rosewood adds clearity and power to the sound, the spruce top produces the most beatiful timbres.
A true dream guitar which is a lot of fun to play.
This Martin D-35 1967 is in great condition. It only has a tiny pickguard crack repaired. The neck has been reset and it plays very well, with a low action and a straight neck. It has a 43 mm nut width.
The guitar comes with the original hard case.
