Description

Martin D-35 1966 – a real cannon of a guitar – big and bold vintage sound!

The Martin D-35 is probably along with the Martin D-28 the most famous dreadnought guitar ever. Who of the famous musicians did not play it?
The D-35 is the prime example of a 14-fret dreadnought and the construction basis for most dreadnoughts on the market. The combination of solid spruce and rosewood is a favorite among recording technicians, as the soundscape is naturally balanced with tight basses and present trebles and it is suitable for many modern styles.

This particular guitar is one of those vintage tone monsters, which we all love. It has been played throughout all these years and sings like a champ.
It has a very open woody sound and this old world magic tone which only the best vintage guitars have. The woods have nicely aged and while the rosewood adds clearity and power to the sound, the spruce top produces the most beatiful timbres.
A true dream guitar which is a lot of fun
 to play.

This Martin D-35 1966 is in great vintage condition. It only has a new bridge and the neck has been reset. It plays very well, with a low action (2.3 mm E and 1.7 mm e at the 12th fret) and a straight neck. It has a 43 mm nut width.

The guitar comes with the original hard case.
