Description

Mario Gropp “Torres SEU-01” classical guitar from 2020 – a very special guitar with a great tonal dynamic. Built in after a guitar from Antonio de Torres, this guitar is a real standout!

Mario Gropp’s workshop is characterised by the harmonious interplay of tradition and innovation whereby old-time construction methods and easthetics along the lines of Weissgerber meet novel ways of construction optimising both sound and playability.
His guitars are crafted to meet the highest demands of concert artists. Gropp guitars are renowned for their quick response, long sustain, even tonal balance across the entire fingerboard, and excellent projection.

The tonewoods and all other materials used are of the highest quality in order to produce the best possible tone.
The instrument is also hand-finished using French polish.
The body of it is made of walnut, which is combined with a spruce top, cedar neck with 640 mm scale length, 51 mm nut width, ebony fretboard.

This guitar is a great example of Gropp’s fine instruments – it is simply exquisite for its quality of sound. While every note is rich in overtones, it retains an almost unbelievable degree of separation and clarity between voices. Due to its lightweight build, the production of sound is immediate, with an ample amount of tonal modulation and dynamic range. This guitar also boasts enormous power.

Condition is excellent – almost like a new guitar. The original hardshell case is included.
