Description

Manuel G. Mayoral 1980 – amazing handmade flamenco guitar with light playability and stunning sound!

Manuel G. Mayoral is considered to be one of best guitar builders of Catalonia. He was teahcer of many of actual guitar makers in Barcelona, such as Casimiro González or Jaume Bosser among others. His guitars are very popular among professionals and amateurs who know them, because they have a very special timbre and are exceptionally easy to play.

The guitar is built with carefully selected woods. The Canadian cedar top has a straight, uniform, and very pronounced grain throughout its surface. The sides and back are made of very nice Spanish cypress. It has a scale length of 655 mm and a nut width of 54 mm. The action is amazingly low at 2.7 mm E and 2.1 mm e at the 12th fret.

The sound of this great guitar is really cool, with a powerful presence, contrasting tone from bomb-like attack to sharp singing treble notes that present the passionate weeping of flaemenco so well. The aesthetics the lightness, the beautiful detailing make this instrument an exceptional guitar. It has a mature vintage sound – very woody and charming.

This Manuel G. Mayoral flamenco guitar comes with a guitar case.
