Description
Manuel Bellido “negra” 1991 flamenco guitar – truly a special guitar, with a tremendous sound quality!
Bellido is one of the most famous guitar makers in Granada. In the early 60’s he learned the art of guitar making with Antonio Marin Montero and his brother Jose Lopez Bellido under Eduardo Ferrer.
After his apprenticeship, he quickly set up his own business and has been based in Granada with his workshop ever since.
His guitars have seen the stages of the world in the hands of great guitarists, both classical and flamenco.
Juan Carmona and Tomatito play his guitars. Bellido is best known for his classical guitars, which he builds with special attention to sound quality.
His guitars are traditionally built and inspired by Antonio de Torres.
This Manuel Bellido flamenco guitar is truly one of a kind. The materials of this guitar are really special. The old woods and varnish are fused together, enhancing the beauty of the fine spruce top and perfectly cut rosewood.
The sound of this gorgeous guitar is wonderfully versatile, with a complex tone and a tremendous range of the most beautiful timbres. The sound is powerful and majestic on the one hand, but the guitar also impresses with clear, sparkling highs that give a sense of great projection. It is a very balanced guitar and has an impressively open sound.
Definitely a guitar for the concert hall and professional use!
This guitar is in wonderful and original condition (it has some wear from play and use) and perfectly set up.
The scale length is 660 mm and the nut width is 52 mm. It comes with its hardshell case.
