Luigi Mozzani classica “C” – nice classical guitar made in the 60’s
Luigi Mozzani was born on March 9, 1869 in Faenza (in the old Romagna) into an extremely poor family from Ancona.
He was both a guitarist and a guitar maker. During his life, he traveled the world and gathered many experiences that are reflected in his instruments.
His guitars are world-famous and Luigi Mozzani is still known today as a very good, unique and experimental guitar maker.
He taught many students and founded the Mozzani instrument company. Mozzani died in 1943.
This very nice sounding classical guitar was built in the Mozzani factory in the 60’s. It has a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
This guitar is in good condition for its age and has been checked by our luthier.
The sound of this Luigi Mozzani classica “C” is excellent, with a woody and soft timbre. The basses are punchy and have a deep sound. The trebles are spontaneous and singing. The instrument has fantastic dynamics with a very sympathetic and charming sound in all registers.
The sweet tones of the guitar are colored with the expressiveness typical of old instruments.
It comes with an old guitar case.
