Günter Mark has dedicated himself to the construction, reconstruction and scientific documentation of historical musical instruments since 1978. He enjoys an international reputation as one of the most distinguished specialists in historical musical instrument making. His lutes, guitars, theorbos and viols are played by musicians of historical performance practice all over the world.
This particular guitar was built after a Panormo guitar from 1822, which is in a private collection in Heidelberg. It has maple back and sides and a spruce top. The scale length is 640 mm and the nut width is 48 mm. It has a high end handmade wooden case.
This guitar has a remarkably full tone. Amazing how loud this small guitar can be. The tone has been beautifully matured and presents the most beautiful timbres you can imagine. The combination high quality maple and spruce on this guitar is pure magic. This is the perfect guitar for someone who is searching for a beautiful and yet different sound.
This guitar is in good condition, but has 2 repairs below th bridge, which have been done professionally.
