Description
We offer a very beautiful and hand-built concert guitar from the famous German guitar maker Klaus Röder.
Klaus Röder, born in 1937, completed a music studies in violin and guitar before becoming a guitar maker. From 1967 he worked in the master workshops of Dieter Hense, Reinhold Seiffert, Kurt Hoyer, Ernest Köröskenyi and Dieter Hopf. In 1975 he succesfully finished his studies and became a master guitar builder. At his place of residence he also works as a teacher and successfully trains junior staff.
Each of his instruments is carefully made with great attention to the deatail and fine inlayworks. Klaus Röder uses only solid woods of the best quality.
The guitar is characterized by a very sweet, warm sound. The sound is also very powerful and room-filling.
We appreciate the great dynamic of this guitar and are impressed with a long lasting sustain. The sound quality can be described as mystical with an almost magical attraction. The guitar fills the entire room with the most beautiful tones and impresses with a breathtaking variety of timbres. An absolutely noble instrument on concert level – very finely built for highest tonal demands.
It is very easy to play and has a slim neck. We have the impression that notes just jump out of the guitar. It is lively and gives the player this impression to merge with the guitar.
The guitar is in very good condition with only minor traces of wear. It has a built in pickup from L.R. Baggs, with sound hole regulation.
Scale 650 mm and nut width 52 mm. Spruce top and Cocobolo back and sides. The guitar comes with the original case.
