A very interesting guitar from the master Hans Fürst from Mittenwald. Built in the Viennese style, this guitar is a fantastic master built instrument.
Hans Fürst (1896-1976), was a well-known and renowned master craftsman who made all kinds of stringed instruments.
Mittenwald is a stronghold of instrument making in Germany and the Fürst family has been making instruments to a very high standard for many generations.
This guitar, typical for Fürst, was handmade in 1938. The tonewoods used for the production come from the Karwendel mountains surrounding Mittenwald and are of the highest quality.
The guitar has a fine spruce top and an impressive one-piece maple back. The sides are also made of the same maple.
The scale length is 640 mm and the nut width is 48 mm.
The sound is powerful and direct – it has a large body that projects the sound very well.
The sound is beautiful, masterful with concert quality. The guitar has a lot of clarity, but at the same time an exceptional tonal flexibility. It offers the magic that only an old, masterfully built guitar can produce.
The guitar offers a wide range of beautiful timbres in all registers.
The guitar has been lightly restored and is in good condition. It is easy to play and an immense joy to play.
