Description
Super cool 1987 Hamer USA Chaparral “Superstrat” in vintage condition!
Hamer Guitars is an American manufacturer of electric guitars founded in 1973.
Hamer offers a wide array of electric guitars and electric basses and since its foundation, placed an emphasis on producing high-quality instruments with vintage aesthetics as well as creative innovations.
This is why many famous artists and groups such as Kiss, Bad Company, Wishbone Ash, Jethro Tull and Savoy Brown got attracted by those guitars and used them for their performances.
In the late 1970s to the mid-1980s Def Leppard used Hamer guitars and basses. Also, heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest are known to have used Hamer guitars during this period.
The guitar is in good condition for its age, no breaks or cracks or other hidden repairs, the jumbo-frets are still in great shape and the electronic works perfect. But it has seen some play and use, which is visible. It is a one owner instrument and comes with the original invoice.
