Description
Greg Smallman 2010 – classical guitar with great power and piano-like sustain.
Greg Smallman is famous for revolutionising classical guitar construction, using carbon fibre lattice bracing with a finely tuned Cedar sound board 1/2 the thickness of a traditional guitar to give the guitar more sustain and responsiveness.
Smallman has an established reputation for producing the highest quality and innovative concert classical guitars. The innovations that Greg Smallman has created have been shared with the wider Classical guitar community, an action for which he has been praised.
Many great players like John Williams, Carlos Bonnell, Benjamin Verdery and Tim Kain to name but a few record and tour with his instruments.
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a late model Smallman guitar.
This guitar is in excellent original condition having no cracks or repairs just some normal playing wear. The guitar features Cedar lattice braced top and arched back and sides of rosewood, Gotho tuners and Karura flight case.
The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
This guitar also features Smallman’s adjustable neck design, allowing significant changes to the setup and action in mere minutes.
This great guitar is obviously an instrument of noticable power and ease of play, but still provides a natural feeling in both sound and playing. It is really a guitar to try because it has a warm and complex basic tone and offers very impressive possibilities of colors and expressions.
