Angel Gomez de Guillen is a Spanish guitar maker and lives in Murcia, which is located in the south-east of Spain. As an enthusiastic guitarist, the transition to guitar making was an obvious one for him. By working with great established Spanish guitar makers such as Carlos Juan Busquiel, Stephen Hill and Oscar Munoz, he gained extensive knowledge of the complex tradition of Spanish guitar making. Angel Gomez de Guillen now builds guitars in his own workshop and works traditionally in the style of the great masters before him. His guitars are very responsive, have a precise tone and a fantastic volume.
This traditionally built guitar with spruce top and cherry back and sides is a wonderful surprise. It is the first guitar from Angel that we offer and fits perfectly into our range due to its high level of quality. It is wonderfully responsive, offering crystal clear highs coupled with warm and mature basses and is an easy to play instrument suitable for both a professional guitarist and an enthusiastic aficionado. The feeling of great responsiveness that this guitar gives, together with the sonorous tones are truly inspiring for the guitarist and allow for fantastic dynamics.
The guitar has a scale length of 650 mm and a nut width of 53 mm. The condition is very good, with only a few signs of use and wear.
