A cool old vintage Gibson Southern Jumbo (SJ) from 1966.
This guitar is built in the style of the famous Gibson Hummingbird and belongs to Gibsons higher class of instruments.
It is surely a players guitar. The finish of the back and sides and of the neck has been removed and another thin finish has been applied. The top has been oversprayed with clear coat, which has been removed then again to let the original finish come out again.
It has had a neck reset and has received a new nut.
It plays very well and is perfectly adjusted with a low action. Comes with a suitable but non original case.
