Here is a SJ (Southern Jumbo) from 1950. It has an Adirondack spruce top – which is especially popular among connoisseurs. In my experience it is the best top material you can get for guitars, a real gem with character in appearance and especially in sound.
It sounds enchanting. It has outstanding basses and an inimitable vintage sound – really indescribably beautiful.
It is largely original, but has already undergone some repairs and got some scratches, traces of playing etc.. I don’t want to and can’t list everything here. For those who are looking for a new/perfect guitar, I can say right away that they better look for something else.
This is a player guitar, for those who are looking for the grandiose sound of a guitar that has definitely not been lying somewhere under the bed, but loved and played. The action is flat and it plays super easy.
