Description
This Gibson LG-2 from the late 50’s is the real deal – rocked hard, with a sound to die for! It is a harmonically rich acoustic guitar, with a ton of vibe and a great “opened-up” tone as well as excellent playability – exactly how we want them.
This nice guitar solid spruce and mahogany construction, with a nicely aged warm sunburst finish, a mahogany neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard, a rosewood bridge.
This guitar is in very nice vintage condition – some wear from play and use, but incredibly clean for the age. It has a replaced bridge, but no other repairs.
It plays very easily with a straight neck and good frets.
This guitar is one of the most articulate, mature mahogany guitars that We’ve owned – just amazing. Rich and deep … a very powerful guitar. The whole construction and the matured woods create this most haunting voice that can’t be described with any degree of accuracy.
The FON dates this guitar to 1959.
It comes with the original case.
