Description
Gibson LG-1 1962 – definitely one of the coolest LG-1 we had for a long time, we will explan why …
This 1962 Gibson LG1 has that wonderful sunburst that Gibson did so well back then, with a nice tortoiseshell pickguard, the sunburst has a cool vintage look and has nicely aged. In addition to that it has all kind of wear from play and use, which makes it to a great looking player. You can already see from the pictures that this guitar has that open and woody vintage sound you always wanted to have.
The guitar has a rich sound and it is open and very vintage with a strong woody nuance. Lending itself to bluesy fingerpicking, although it’s very versatile, handling strumming very well, and has plenty of bite when soloing. The neck feels great and the action is very comfortable (had a neck reset).
The guitar has a few repairs all have been well done. Our luthier has checked the guitar and it is ready to go. The serial number dates it to 1962
It comes with a newer guitar case.
