Gibson’s Roundshoulder Dreadnought guitars are legendary and popular.
This guitar is from 1956. The FON on the neckblock is hardly visible. But according to the specs and the information of the previous owner we could date it to that year.
This guitar has these typical growling basses and a deep tone. It brings an enormous volume paired with a mild and woody vintage nuance.
Absolutely a dream instrument!
In addition the guitar is an eye-catcher and you will surely find attention if you show yourself with it in public.
It has a cool vintage look, which has naturally developed over the many years in which the guitar was played and loved.
The guitar could certainly tell hundreds of stories and it is full of songs that have already been played on it.
Condition wise it is pretty much free from cracks … there are a few insignificant ones on the top. Some braces have been reglued and a neck reset has been performed to lower the action on the guitar – a few signs of that work is visible at the heel of the neck. The tuners are vintage correct but not original.
The guitar plays very well and has a low action as well as a straight neck.
It comes with a newer hard case.
