Description
This sensational Gibson FJN Acoustic is from the year 1965, and marries the iconic tone of a square shoulder dreadnought with the playability and feel finger style and folk players crave.
Made up out of Mahogany for the back and sides with a Sitka Spruce top, this remarkable instrument has an exceptionally open and balanced tone with a lively and inspiring response.
What really sets this guitar apart is the 50 mm wide nut, providing an incredibly comfortable platform for even the most acrobatic left hand manoeuvring and adventurous voicings.
That being said, with the comfortable carve to the neck profile, this is by no means a deterrent for the avid flatpicker, with the wonderful note separation and singing harmonics making for a truly inspiring tone when strummed.
