In the year 1955 this successful model series was built for the first time and was a Southern Jumbo with natural finish at that time. In the 50’s still with round shoulders, which was then changed in the 60’s.
Basically you can callths model Southern Jumbo Natural (SJN) or Country Western – its a Gibson Dreadnought with spruce top, mahogany body and the corresponding Deluxe appointments. The ultimate guitar for cowboys, flatpickers and bluegrass players and those who want to become one.
This Gibson Country Western 1974 is a real gem with character in appearance and especially in sound. Here you get the ultimate vintage sound.
Growling basses, great dynamics combined with beautiful overtones – this guitar really has a lot to offer and the sound is pure magic!
It plays nicely and is perfectly set up. Flat action, straight neck and well preserved frets. The serial number reads B000917.
The guitar is in nice vintage condition. It has a pickguard crack, which has been repaired. Our luthier has checked everything.
The guitar comes with the original case!
