Description
This is the perfect flamenco guitar! Built by the great master Francisco Barba, it is out of the best of what you can get!
Francisco Barba is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever and his guitars have been (and are) praised and used by some of the best guitarists in the world: Niño de Pura, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Pepe Habichuela… and so many others.
The woods on this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of German spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of cypress, an aesthetically marvelous wood due to its tones and grain shapes, providing the guitar with great beauty and elegance. The edging work details and finishing are simply perfect.
Its sound is really marvelous. It is responsive in all registers and has an exquisite tone which is sweet, beautiful and lyrical while retaining the bite and energy of a great flamenco guitar. The strong, bell-like trebles are balanced by it’s big low-end that is full but not boomy.
As sweet as the tone is, it still has the aggressive response when pushed in the right direction – rasguedos in particular are quite explosive and powerful.
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a reduced height of strings at the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The scale length is 667 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
The condition of this guitar is good – it has been played a lot and has 3 repairs.
A very good hard case is included.
