Esteban Eijo 2018 “Negra” flamenco guitar – amazing sounding handmade guitar.
Esteban Eijo is still a relatively young guitar maker. He comes from Argentina. He first studied classical guitar at the conservatory in Tucumán, where he became a concert guitarist and guitar teacher.
At the age of 20, guitar making entered his life thanks to his friendship with the guitar making teacher José Luis Cardozo, who opened his workshop to him and introduced him to the guitar making school in Tucumán.
After graduating from the school, he settled in the city of Córdoba with his workshop, where he made an average of one guitar per month for five years.
As a luthier, he is passionate about learning and growing, so in 2008 he decided to come to Spain. He finally settled in Jerez de la Frontera, a city with a great flamenco tradition. Since then, he has devoted himself entirely to flamenco guitar-making, with the professionalism and passion for which his customers from all over the world know him.
This guitar is from 2018 and has a cedar top and beautiful rosewood back and sides.
The scale length is 660 mm and the nut width 52 mm. It plays extremly well all the way down the neck. The neck is fast and straight – the setup is perfect for flamencoo playing!
It has a very nice flamenco sound and reacts great with a fast attack and a great flamenco tone, which immediately excites and thrills you.
It has beautiful basses and is nevertheless a very balanced instrument. The tone is a perfect blend of beauty and true flamenco aggressiveness. If massaged by the player, it sings with a sweet voice that is warm and full, but if pushed, even just a little – it awakens with a powerful bark that only the best flamenco guitars can produce.
A beautiful guitar – simply guaranteed to fall in love with!!
It is in nice condition with only a very small amount of wear from play and use. The guitar comes with a suitable case.
