Description
Very noble master guitar by Domenico Pizzonia 2020 – finely built and spectacular sounding concert guitar!
Domenico Pizzonia has been a guitar player since the age of 15 and has been teaching guitar in Heidelberg for many years.
Through his love for the guitar he also found his way to guitar building many years ago.
He was inspired in guitar building by the craftsmen Daniel Friederich and Karl-Heinz Römmich. In the logic of the sound he follows the Stradivari method.
His guitars are handcrafted to a very high standard using the best materials and natural materials: Hide glue, fish glue, as well as his own shellac.
For Vintage-Guitar-World Domenico Pizzonia has already done some restorations of antique guitars and therefore we are now very proud to present his self-made masterpieces.
The sound of this guitar is, in a positive sense, complex, with a harmonically rich texture, which gives the instrument a very fascinating, mysterious quality.
The guitar has a great dynamic range. Each note is very intense, with the overtones closely packed in a solid and well defined key note. This gives an almost cathedral-like echo effect of the sound, which radiates from the body and gives the instrument an enormous presence – both behind the instrument from the playing position and at a distance from the listener’s perspective.
This beautiful guitar is truly a powerful and versatile instrument with a rich, robust and very stylish sound. All in all a concert and recording instrument of the highest level for the discerning interpreter.
