Seit 1669 hat Hopf einen Namen im Instrumentenbau. Seitdem läßt sich die Chronologie lückenlos bis heute nachweisen. Die nun rund 340-jährige Familientradition und die mehr als 40-jährige Erfahrung allein von Dieter Hopf läßt erahnen, welch Wissen sich in den Hopf-Gitarren widerspiegelt.
Dieter Hopf wurde 1936 in Zwota/Vogtland geboren, absolvierte eine 2-jährige Ausbildung zum Geigenbauer in Mittenwald und spezialisierte sich schließlich auf den Gitarrenbau. Seit 1968 arbeitet er als Gitarrenbaumeister in Taunusstein.
Er bemühte sich ergeizig um die Weiterentwicklung der Konzertgitarre und erwarb sich so 2 Patente: Das frei schwingende Deckensystem (f.v.t.s.) und den Rosettensteg.
Ton und Bespielbarkeit sind exzellent. Die Gitarre hat den typischen Hopf Klang – kräftig, mystisch und raumfüllend.
Der Erhaltungszustand der Gitarre ist sehr gut. Es gibt nur geringe Spiel und Gebrauchsspuren.
Sie ist perfekt eingestellt und sehr gut bespielbar.
Die Gitarre kommt mit der dazugehörigen Garantiekarte, einem Zertifikat von Hopf und Koffer!

Since 1669 Hopf has a name in instrument making. Since then, the chronology can be fully documented to this day. The now 340-year-old family tradition and the more than 40-year experience alone by Dieter Hopf gives an idea of what knowledge is represented in the Hopf guitars.
Dieter Hopf was born in Zwota / Vogtland in 1936, completed a 2-year training as a violin maker in Mittenwald and finally specialized in guitar making. Since 1968 he works as a master builder in Taunusstein.
He stroves effortfully for the advancement of the classical guitar and acquired 2 patents: The free swinging soundboard system and the Rosettensteg.
Sound and playability are excellent. The guitar has the typical Hopf sound – powerful, mystical and room-filling.
The condition of the guitar is very good. There are only minor signs of wear and tear.
It is perfectly set and very easy to play.
The guitar comes with the Hopf warranty card, a Hopf certificate and case!
