Description
A great Atkin OM 37 with the “new” relic finish. The OM 37 is a perfect songwriters guitar, it’s small, compact but powerful. It is often called a desert island guitar, if you had to choose one, it may well be this one. The 37 Series guitars have been modelled on their Martin Pre-War ancestors, and are designed to give you the look, feel and sound from that golden era.”
Atkin guitars have toured with artists such as Albert Lee, Bruce Welch, Hank Marvin, Paul McCartney and many more – they have been part of the crème de la crème of the guitar making scene for quite some time. The special features of Atkin guitars are above all the torrified tops. At approx. 100 degrees C, the residual moisture is almost completely extracted from the wood. The result is phenomenal: the instrument vibrates and sounds like an ‘old one’ right from the start!
