Armin Gropp classical guitar from 1978 – a very special guitar with a great tonal dynamic.
This guitar was built after Richard-Jacob Weissgerber’s guitars. It additionally has deep sides, which adds great depth and volume to the tone.
Armin Gropp’s workshop is characterised by the harmonious interplay of tradition and innovation whereby old-time construction methods and easthetics along the lines of Weissgerber meet novel ways of construction optimising both sound and playability.
This guitar is crafted to meet the highest demands of concert artists. Gropp guitars are renowned for their quick response, long sustain, even tonal balance across the entire fingerboard, and excellent projection.
The tonewoods and all materials used are of the highest quality in order to produce the best possible tone.
The instrument was also hand-finished using French polish.
The body of it is made of rosewood, which is combined with a spruce top, mahogany neck with 650 mm scale length, 52 mm nut width, ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge, oval soundhole and custom made tuners.
The condition is very good, with only a few signs of use. The guitar comes with the original case.
