Description
Gibson Hummingbird 1966 – a rare beauty in cherry sunburst – it plays great and sounds amazing!
The Gibson Hummingbird is one of those famous Gibson models – the list of the famous players ranges from Bob Dylan to Keith Richards to Mick Jagger – this guitar simply has the ultimate cult status. It is probably the most beautiful of the Gibson models.
This one sounds very open and warm with some nice atack, good basses but not muddy at all, one of the best-sounding 60’s Gibson dreadnought we heard! A guitar with character and history – just amazing!
It is in great condition and has no cracks. There is a small area of finish flaking at the heel of the neck and some small parts on the binding have been reglued.
The guitar has received a neck reset and plays easily with a low action and a staight neck.
The guitar comes with the original case!
