Very Rare 1968 African Padauk Nylon String Classical Guitar, hand-made in Madrid, Spain by renowned classical builder, Andres Martin, Restored Condition. European Spruce top, beautiful solid African Padauk back, sides, Spanish Cedar neck, Ebony fingerboard.
Typical Andres Martin headstock design. Rosette is marquetry of red, black, blue and white woods in a geometric design. Label is signed. Martin, also signed in pencil on the underside of the top.
All materials used in the construction of this instrument are the highest quality available.
The tone of this instrument is very balanced and sweet. The treble strings speak very well throughout the entire range and the bass strings ring full and true. There is a wonderful range of tone color and it leans to the brighter side overall.
This guitar has some repaires all over the body. This is why it is offered for a very low price!
