Description

Pedro de Miguel Spanish guitar in Jose Ramirez style – this guitar is pure magic, it combines excellent craftsmanship, quality materials, years of experience and love for music to an instrument of exceptional quality!

Who is behind the name Pedro de Miguel, is often asked. The answer is simple: two great guitar makers: Pedro Pérez (1958-2008) and Miguel Ángel Rodríguez (1960 – ), who worked for Ramirez before starting their own business.

At the age of fourteen, they both started working in José Ramírez’s workshop, where they first learned from the other guitar makers and later became Ramírez’s master guitar makers under the famous José Ramirez III.

After a few years, they opened their own workshop at 13 Amor de Dios Street in Madrid, where the “Pedro de Miguel” brand was born. Many of the famous Ramirez guitar makers did the same … Paulino Bernabe, Manuel Contreras, Felix Manzanero, Miguel Malo, Arturo Sanzano …

Rafael Riqueni, Gerardo Núñez, Pepe Habichuela or Jerónimo Maya are some of the famous guitarists who have come to their workshop to acquire one of these works of art.

The sound is a real deal … truly a sound which you can only find on the best Spanish guitars. It has a robust, creamy quality to the sound and has a nice quick, bouncy responsiveness, a characteristic found in the best Spanish instruments.
It has these deep basses and a round and clear tone. A rich sound with the most beautiful timbres.

It plays very easily, with a low action, a straight neck, and a perfect setup.
The top is of spruce and the back and sides are of rosewood. The scale length is 662 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.

The guitar is in good condition with only a small and professionally repaired crack on the back. The neck is straight and the string action is comfortably low.

The guitar comes with a good case.
