Description
Lowden L-38 1988 – a dream guitar similar to Eric Claptons Lowden!
Lowden named his famous O-models with “L” in the first years. The 38 series were the high end guitars of the time in Lowdens production.
Eric Clapton played a Lowden O-38 from 1996, which sold for 57000 USD. We linked a video of this guitar down below.
The ‘O’ model is George’s original Lowden body design. Although the medium sized ‘F’ and concert sized ‘S’ have been added to the range since the start in 1976, the Lowden standard of passionate commitment to no compromise was well and truly set.
The combination of cedar and rosewood is pure magic on this guitar.
Rosewood gives brilliance and depth to the tone, while cedar brings the warmth and volume.
The tone on this guitar has been develloped very nicely and without any hesitation we can say it is a dream guitar.
It is perfectly adjusted and plays like a dream. The condition of the entire guitar is good with some amount of wear from use and play and a repaired crack on the top.
It comes with the original guitar case.
