Description
Thanks to its selected solid tonewoods, the Alhambra 11C produces a warm and wide-ranging sound that unfolds quickly and resonates long-lasting in the overtones. In addition, the high-quality bone hardware guarantees pure intonation from the entire scale length of 650 mm, so that the 4/4 concert guitar meets all demands with ease. The comfortable neck is extremely easy to play. Optically, the guitar has noble decorations, such as bindings and the elaborately designed sound hole rosette. The appearance is rounded off by golden tuners and a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer. A gig bag is included in the delivery.
Alhambra uses red cedar for the top so that every tone is enriched with a pleasant warmth. This provides a clear expression of the midrange frequencies, while the treble frequencies are given a delicate touch. Meanwhile, a body made of Indian rosewood provides crisp bass frequencies that perfectly complement the sound character. To allow the player easy access to all frets, the cedar neck is equipped with a grippy ‘C’ profile. The fingerboard is made of fine ebony.
Both the 52 mm wide nut and the bridge inlay are made of fine bone, which results in all 6 nylon strings intonating cleanly in every fret. These in turn can be tuned extremely accurately with classic machine heads. The individual components of the body are bordered with fine wood bindings, which contrast well with the colouring of the woods used. In this way, their multi-faceted grain is skilfully set off. The entire concert guitar is covered with a fine high-gloss varnish, which gives the exterior a very traditional touch.
