Description

Nice Torres style guitar built by Antonio Picado – lovely and sweet sounding guitar.

Antonio Picado’s guitars are built in his workshop in Berga, a town high up in the Pyrenee Mountains near Barcelona.
For over 40 years, Antonio Picado has dedicated himself to the art of guitar making. The instruments coming out of his are some of the best values in classical guitars these days.
They combine great playability, beautiful sound, excellent workmanship, and a long history of guitar making into suprisingly affordable guitar.

This nicely built guitar was built in the style Torres’ guitars from around 1857. It is a bit smaller in size and has a scale length of 630 mm and a nut width of 50 mm. It has a nice spruce top an Indian rosewood back and sides.
It has elements of Torres’ FE09 from 1859 (the famous Llobet guitar) and has size, meassurements and materials of a guitar built by Torres in 1857.

Tone and sustain are exceptional on this guitar. It has well-defined notes throughout and a surprisingly big volume. The typical Torres fan bracing gives this guitar an extra of brilliance and dynamic, while the excellent woods let the timbres shine.
A dream guitar that produces the most beautiful timbres … easy to fall in love with!

The condition is very good, almost like new!

The guitar plays easily, with a straight neck and a pleasantly low action.

It comes with the original hard case.
