Nicolaus Wollf is one of the outstanding guitar makers in Germany. He retired in 2018, so this guitar is a rare opportunity to get one of his master instruments. He started making guitars in 1966 and completed his apprenticeship with master guitar maker Ernest Köröskeny and then with master guitar maker Dieter Hopf, in whose workshop he also worked at the beginning.
He then worked as a self-employed guitar maker for many years until he retired in 2018.
Nicolaus Wollf is known in an astonishing number of fields. He has great experience in restoring historical guitars and restored an Antonio de Torres, of which you can find many articles on the internet. He also masterfully rebuilt this Torres and caused great enthusiasm in the guitar world with this reproduction.
His knowledge is also highly appreciated in modern guitar building and customers from all over the world commissioned him with the most diverse guitar models (Double Top, Lattice, traditional Spanish … and much more).
