Description
Martin 000-45 1928 (Pre-War) an iconic guitar – here an incredibly good reproduction by Joel Whitehead from 2020!
Joel Whitehead is a very talented guitar maker from California. For several years he worked as a luthier for Norman’s Rare Guitars. There he had the unique opportunity to inspect and repair many high quality guitars. He started his own business a few years ago and now builds 100% handmade high-end guitars and restores old treasures (mainly Gibson and Martin guitars). The great thing about his work is that his guitars are 100% handmade and that he uses traditional techniques as well as high quality materials. His great experience with the original guitars enables him to rebuild them accurately.
A few years ago, an original 1928 Martin 000-45 came into the shop at Norman’s Rare Guitars. Joel had the opportunity to do repairs on this guitar. He studied the details very carefully and has now rebuilt it true to the original.
