Description
Outstanding romantic guitar from ~1880 probably from Mittenwald.
A very beautiful romantic guitar built with outstanding woods in high quality master craftsmanship.
According to our research, the guitar can be assigned to the South German, Austrian area. The guitar has unmistakable characteristics of Viennese guitar building and we strongly suspect that it was built in the Mittenwald area by one of the top-class guitar builders such as Tiefenbrunner.
The back and sides alone are outstanding. Finest birdseye maple was used here. The top is made of finest alpine spruce. All details of this guitar are very finely worked out.
The scale length is 605 mm and the nut width 45 mm.
It has a remarkably full tone. Amazing how loud this little guitar can be. The tone is beautifully matured and presents the most beautiful timbres you can imagine. The combination of maple and spruce on this guitar is pure magic.
This is the perfect guitar for someone who is looking for a beautiful and extraordinary sound.
The guitar is fully playable and it even plays amazingly easily down the whole neck. The neck is straight and the action is very good.
The guitar is in very good condition and has had only a few minor repairs over the years, all of which are very professional and stable.
