Description
This absolutely great Boucher ‘Spruce Goose’ comes from the excellent acoustic guitar factory founded in 2005 by a team of highly talented luthiers in the French-speaking part of Canada.
Boucher was named No1 boutique manufacturer at the NAMM 2014 and caused a huge stir with guitars like this enchanting Spruce Goose.
An essential element of the great and rich sound of Boucher guitars is a top made of Adirondack Spruce in Mastergrade quality, a type of spruce that grows into an outstanding tonewood in the Adirondack Mountains on the border to the USA under deprivation-rich conditions.
The Boucher company is in the fortunate position of having its own forest to fall back on. In addition to the best tonewoods processed in their own workshop, there is still enough material left over to sell the coveted material to other guitar makers. The master degree is awarded to only a fraction of the total woods felled and this is definitely noticeable in this guitar.
Beautifully grained and great sounding are also the back and sides which are made of the same wood. This makes the guitar to a lightweight and gives it an unbelievably good resonance. The tones come with a great dynamic in the most beautiful timbres.
The fingerboard is made of noble ebony. Besides an absolutely flawless workmanship, the Boucher also convinces with a warm sound character. It has full, but never obtrusive basses and a floating sustain.
The condition of the fantastic Spruce Goose is very good with only minor and insignificant signs of use. The high class instrument is delivered in the original Boucher case.
