A Real Collectors Item! RARE! Here we have a rare 1981 Gibson Chet Atkins CE from the Gibson Custom Shop in all original and in very good condition.
This guitar was developed in cooperation with Chet Atkins and was built in the old Gibson plant in Kalamazoo.
The Chet Atkins CE is perfect for use in the studio or live on stage, where the sound of a nylon-string guitar is needed. The guitar has great play-ability and no feedback problems.
The Gibson Hex Piezo bridge transducer is perfect to deliver an authentic nylon-string sound, there is active on-board electronics for the pickup-system.
The condition is very good with minor wear of play and use and could be considered as a collectors item.
The frets are in perfect condition. It has a spruce top and a mahogany body. The finger board and bridge are rosewood.
It comes with its original brown Gibson custom flight case with green lining.
