Description
The Gibson Les Paul Custom is perhaps the most remarkable Gibson electric guitar. Starting in 1953, the production was stopped for some years in the early 60’s until continiued in 1968.
It is the high end model among the Gibson electrics and absolutely stunning in look and sound.
Notable Les Paul Players: Jimmy Page, Slash, Neil Young, Alex Lifeson, Pete Townshend
Body Style: Single cutaway solidbody
Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Maple top, Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard
Design Elements: Two humbucker pickups, block inlays, Kluson deluxe tuners, four control knobs, three-way pickup selector, black pickguard, bound fingerboard, stopbar tailpiece and Tune-o-matic bridge, gold-plated hardware, headstock inlay
This guitar is all original and from the first owner. He has opted for the famous Kahler Tremolo bridge, which is installed in the guitar. This bridge came along with a string holder, which was installed on the headstock and has been removed now (but will be delivered with the guitar). The original bridge parts are included in the purchase.
The guitar has the playwear visible in the pictures, but is in a good playable condition. It has this fat and desirable Gibson sound, which you’ll only find in a vintage Gibson!
The original hard case is included.
