A wonderful guitar this Gibson L-00 from 1933
The sound of this Gibson is simply stunning. One of the best small body vintage guitars we had. Here you get the ultimate vintage blues sound. Today’s guitars really don’t have that!!!
The top is made of spruce, the back and the sides are made of mahogany – the guitar is light as a feather!
I repeat, this L-00 sounds really very, very, very good. It has matured and is perfectly balanced, with present mids, crystal clear highs and booming basses (amazing what comes out of this small body).
The small body also gives the sound a great projection – the sound comes directly and without detours.
The guitar has been refinished (a very fine varnish has been used – the sound quality has become better) and repaired (several cracks). The neck has been reset and the bridge replaced.
The playability is very good. The neck is straight and the frets are in a good condition.
The serial number reads 643 and that makes it to a 1933-Guitar
