An absolute top instrument. A Gibson L-00 from 1934
The sound of this Gibson is simply stunning. One of the best small body vintage guitars I’ve ever had. Here you get the ultimate vintage blues sound. Today’s guitars really don’t come with that!!!
The top is made of spruce, the back and the sides are made of mahogany – the guitar is light as a feather!
I repeat, this L-00 sounds really very, very, very good. It is really mature and perfectly balanced, with present mids, crystal clear highs and booming basses (amazing what comes out of this small body).
The small body also gives the sound a great projection – the sound comes directly and without detours.
The guitar has been repainted (a very fine varnish has been used – the sound quality has become better) and is otherwise very well preserved.
The playability is very good. The neck is straight and the frets are in top condition (there was a re-bonding in the course of time).
